From 2025, the pipelines of the GET H2 hydrogen network in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia will be gradually commissioned. The GTC apply to all customers wishing to transport hydrogen in this GET H2 network.
The GTC provide for a two-contract model through which fixed, freely allocable capacities in the GET H2 hydrogen network are marketed and can be booked by transport customers. The contract model follows, as closely and as sensibly as possible, the established standard of the cooperation agreement of network operators in natural gas (KoV Gas). The transport tariffs will be applied in accordance with the Federal Network Agency’s ruling on the ramp-up tariff, which will then also apply to transport in the GET H2 hydrogen network.
As with natural gas transport, a balancing group agreement will also be required. The GTC for this agreement can be found on the website of the market area manager Trading Hub Europe (THE).
