Our Projects in the Osnabrück Region
Project Schepsdorf – Schlootdamm/Steinfeld
The pipeline conversion covers the section from Schepsdorf near Lingen to Schlootdamm/Steinfeld. In the future, this will enable local businesses in the districts of Emsland, Osnabrück and Vechta to be connected to hydrogen. To meet future demand in the region, stations along the pipeline will be converted as part of the project.
At the network interconnection point Schlootdamm/Steinfeld, measures KLU060-01a and KLU060-01b of Nowega will be connected to measure KLU036-01 of Gasunie Deutschland.
In Schepsdorf, core network measures KLN033-01, KLU052-01 and KLU053-01 of Nowega will be connected to the pipeline.

Project Reiningen – Georgsmarienhütte
The pipeline conversion from Reiningen to Georgsmarienhütte enables hydrogen connectivity to the district and city of Osnabrück. Nowega can thus provide regional network operators with access to the hydrogen core network. This opens up the possibility of switching to hydrogen as a more environmentally friendly energy source. In the future, this may create advantages for businesses in the region. The construction project includes conversions at existing stations as well as new construction at the Reiningen station to enable coupling to two core network measures.
The coupling at Reiningen connects to core network measures KLU036-01 and KLU047-01 of Gasunie Deutschland.
